London's "Arsenal" star Santi Cazorla has dismissed rumors linking him to Madrid's "Atletico" and said that he will happily stay in the English capital as long as he is needed.
The Spaniard has often had to fight for a place in the starting lineup this season, especially with Mesut Ozil returning from injury, but it doesn't bother him much.
"I haven't heard anything about it yet. It's just simple rumors. To be honest, I don't really care. I'm only interested in "Arsenal", where everything is going well," Cazorla told El Mundo.
"We'll see what happens in the future. I feel very good within the ranks of "Arsenal", so I will stay as long as the team needs me."
The Spanish national team winger also mentioned how much he enjoys the comfortable life in London. Furthermore, the footballer took the opportunity to congratulate Diego Simeone and the "Atletico" fans, as the team's coach recently extended his contract with the club.
