The British national broadcaster BBC reports that Steven Gerrard, who has decided to leave Los Angeles Galaxy, is currently in contact with MK Dons.
The club recently sacked Karl Robinson and is currently without a coach, so the 36-year-old veteran could fill this role.
The Englishman has been linked in the media with a move to Celtic in Glasgow and Newcastle United. Gerrard himself recently said he has offers "both at home and abroad."
There have also been rumors about the possibility of joining Jurgen Klopp's staff within Liverpool.
