The legendary English footballer Steven Gerrard spent a short time at Aston Villa.
The 42-year-old specialist was fired after just 11 months and is now linked to other teams from his homeland.
According to journalist George Priestman, S. Gerrard could take over the reins of Championship's bottom-of-the-table Wigan.
The latter team recently parted ways with Liam Richardson and currently sits in 22nd place in the country's second-highest league.
S. Gerrard spent his most successful years as a coach at Glasgow Rangers, with whom he managed to become the champion of Scotland.
