Long-time "Liverpool" captain Steven Gerrard mentioned the end of his career and a possible return to his former club.
The former "Reds" midfielder left last year when he moved to Los Angeles "Galaxy". However, it is worth mentioning that after the end of the MLS season, Gerrard participated in training sessions led by Jurgen Klopp at "Liverpool".
"I'm not one hundred percent sure yet, but I think these years will probably be the last in my career," - Gerrard told Daily Telegraph.
"I talked to Klopp. I didn't receive a specific offer, but the club let me know that they are waiting for me to return."
"They welcomed me with pleasure. I will always be a fan of Liverpool and the FA (Football Association of England) and when I come back home, I intend to continue my work as an expert and travel to clubs to gain more experience by observing coaches and learning from them."
"I will practically be free from November or December 2016. Then the whole football world will know it and I will have almost received the necessary coaching qualifications."
Gerrard also added that he regrets not trying to acquire coaching qualifications earlier, because he was constantly bored in hotels, and now, when he could immediately start working, he still needs to take care of getting the certifications.
