S. Kehlas: "We tried to invite R. Cherki to the Dortmund Borussia club"

Dortmund's "Borussia" club director Sebastian Kehl revealed that he tried to acquire "Lyon" midfielder Rayan Cherki and explained why this transfer did not happen:

"There were discussions about the possibility of bringing R. Cherki over. We wanted to sign him.

The Frenchman did not join BVB because we could not reach an agreement. We do not intend to engage in OL's online and social media games.”

21-year-old Rayan Cherki has been playing for the main "Lyon" team since 2019 and has scored 22 goals in 166 matches.
