Long-time "Marseille" goalkeeper Steve Mandanda revealed that yesterday's "Coupe de France" final was likely the last match he played within the ranks of the port city club.
Michel's pupils lost 4-2 to the "Paris Saint-Germain" players and missed the chance to secure a ticket to the UEFA Europa League.
The 31-year-old Frenchman, who will remain without a contract in the near future, has already attracted the attention of several strong European teams.
"There is a high probability that I played my last game tonight," Mandanda said. "Therefore, the sadness and disappointment are even greater."
"It's hard to talk about tonight: I experienced many great and beautiful moments, even more challenging ones, but it was amazing. It was something wonderful."
Mandanda has been guarding the gates of "Marseille" since 2008 when he moved from "Le Havre".
