The 27-year-old footballer was chosen as the best African footballer of 2019. He beat Mohamed Salah and Riyad Mahrez in the race for this award.
A representative of "Manchester City" remained in second place, M. Salah - in third.
S. Mane won the UEFA Champions League with "Liverpool" last season and reached the final of the African Cup with the national team.
Overall, during 2019, the country's forward played 63 matches representing both the club and the national team, scored 35 goals, and made 11 assists.
The best young African footballer was Achrafas Hakimi, who plays for Borussia Dortmund on loan basis.
