Talks started after the Suning Holdings Group provided additional financing to the "Inter" club and are ready to offer an impressive buyout sum for the Argentine. Former "Inter" president Massimo Moratti stated in January that the club is determined to acquire a top-level star by the start of the next season, although he admitted that Messi would not be the main target. However, Mazzola, a two-time European champion, believes that Messi playing at the San Siro stadium is a very realistic option: "Suning Holdings Group has all the chances to acquire everything they want. Including Messi," Mazzola said.
