With the turn of events this winter, Scott McTominay not only remains in the "Manchester United" club but also signed a new long-term contract.
The official announcement states that 22-year-old Scotsman will continue to defend the honor of the "Red Devils" for at least four and a half years. The contract also includes the possibility to extend the agreement for another year in 2023.
"Man Utd" has been in my life since I was five years old. All I wanted was to play for the club I have always supported. I am still young and trying to learn from top-class players and coaches," said the footballer.
S. McTominay was introduced to the main team by Jose Mourinho. The versatile midfielder has played 33 matches since April 2017.
It is believed that new contracts at "Man Utd" will also be signed by Anthony Martial, Ander Herrera and David de Gea this season.
