Lithuanian national team football player Saulius Mikoliūnas has changed teams in Ukraine. The 28-year-old defender has signed a three-year contract with the team "Sevastopol", competing in the first Ukrainian league.
Since 2009, S. Mikoliūnas represented the Kiev club "Arsenal", participating in the Ukrainian Premier League. In the 2012-2013 season after 18 rounds, "Arsenal" is in 8th place in the tournament table, but this winter they faced financial problems.
The prospects of the Kiev club became uncertain when its president Vadim Rabinovich announced that he no longer intends to support the team.
Although S. Mikoliūnas had a valid contract with "Arsenal", due to the club's troubles he became a free agent and had the right to sign a new contract.
