London's "Arsenal" coach Arsene Wenger confirmed that team defender Shkodran Mustafi is out of the lineup until next year due to an injury.
The German national team player was forced to be substituted in the match against "Stoke City" yesterday because, as reported, he injured his ankle.
Arsenal supporters are only consoled by the fact that their team won the game with a score of 3-1.
"He strained his ankle ligaments strongly and will be out of the field for at least 21 days. He will have a good Christmas," Wenger said after the match.
Mustafi, who arrived just this season, has already become an important Arsenal player. In 17 games played, he has received only three yellow cards, and with him in the lineup, the "Gunners" have not experienced any losses.
