The new Arsenal defender Shkodran Mustafi has no doubt that their next purchase Lucas Perez will play successfully in England.
The German had the opportunity to face his future teammate in Spain, as they played together at Valencia, when Perez was the attacking leader of Deportivo La Coruna.
The 27-year-old Spaniard scored 17 goals last season in La Liga.
"It's unpleasant to play against him. He is a good attacker and has everything a sniper needs," - Mustafi told the official Arsenal website.
"Playing together with him is great. It's not like he just runs and waits for someone to pass the ball to him so he can score. He does a lot of team work and creates opportunities for others."
"He was in the right place at the right time - he proved that last year in La Liga. I played there for two years and I know that scoring goals is not easy, because there are also great defenders there."
"I think he will help the team a lot."
Both Mustafi and Perez are expected to make their debuts for Arsenal this weekend against Southampton.
