S. Nasri extends contract with "Man City" club

"Manchester City" club is close to reaching an agreement with Frenchman Samir Nasri on signing a new contract. The 27-year-old midfielder's contract with the team expires next year, so the club management has offered him to commit to the club for another four years. Former "Arsenal" player performed excellently last season, but was not selected by Didier Deschamps to join the French national team for the World Cup in Brazil. In 2011, Roberto Mancini signed S.Nasri for "Man City" for 25 million pounds. In his first season, the player did not perform well, but regained his form when coach Manuel Pellegrini arrived. The club management also offers a new contract to 28-year-old midfielder James Milner, but it is not yet clear what the Englishman will choose. Like S.Nasri, J.Milner's contract with the team expires in the summer of 2015.
