After representing FA "Šiauliai" for four years and playing a total of 117 matches, Simonas Paulius has decided – next year he will no longer wear the yellow and black jersey.

Through his performance on the field, dedication, and unwavering fight for every ball, Simonas Paulius helped FA "Šiauliai" achieve significant victories. The 33-year-old midfielder, who contributed a lot of unseen hard work in the center of the field, joined the Sun City team back in 2021, when former Šiauliai coach Mindaugas Čepas took over the team.

In his first year, the player from Kretinga played a total of 22 matches in the country's second-tier division, providing two assists and significantly contributing to the team's triumph in the "Pirma Lyga" and securing a place in the "TOPsport A lyga".

In the remaining three seasons, the 33-year-old midfielder played 95 matches while wearing the yellow and black kit, scored one goal, and made 5 assists for his teammates.

In 2023, the footballer, alongside his team, fought for the bronze medals in the "TOPsport A lyga" and a place in the UEFA Conference League qualification stage; he also played in the LFF Cup final.

FA "Šiauliai" thanks Simon for his invaluable contribution to the team's achievements and wishes him every success in the future.
