London's "Arsenal" continues to struggle with defensive injuries. The club announced that defender Sokratis Papastathopoulos, who suffered a knee injury, will be out of action until the end of February.
The Greek player got injured during the FA Cup match against "Manchester United" on Friday, when he had to leave the field in the middle of the first half. After the match, Arsenal's manager Unai Emery spoke positively about Sokratis' injury, but the test results were not as good as expected.
Another Arsenal defender, Laurent Koscielny, also suffered an injury on Friday. The Frenchman injured his face in a collision with Romelu Lukaku, but it seems that there were no serious problems and the defender will return to the squad in the near future.
It was recently revealed that Arsenal have also lost Hector Bellerin to a knee injury until the end of the season.
