S. Pioli was dissatisfied with the referee's decision after the draw with "Juventus"

"AC Milan" painfully released victory from their hands in the first leg of the Italian Cup semi-final and played a 1:1 draw at home against "Juventus" on Thursday.

The Milan team took the lead after the 61st minute goal from Ante Rebić, but Cristiano Ronaldo equalized the result by converting a penalty kick during added time.

It was precisely because of the penalty kick that was awarded after the match that "AC Milan" coach Stefano Pioli was dissatisfied. According to him, Davide Calabria simply couldn't keep his hands elsewhere in that episode.

"At first, I was most angry about the fact that there was a foul on Zlatan Ibrahimović just before the penalty kick episode, which the referee did not notice.

Then I remembered that we had a similar episode at the beginning of the season in one match, where the referee also awarded a penalty kick. That time, it was explained to us that it was a referee mistake because the defender simply did not see the ball and could not play it any differently.

This time was exactly the same - Calabria did not see the ball. A player cannot fly in the air without using his hands", - S. Pioli said in an interview with "Rai" after the match.
