S. Ramos confirmed to remain in Madrid's "Real" club

"Madriz "Real" team won't need to search for another new center-back this summer - Sergio Ramos has rejected the opportunity to go play in China.

"La Sexta", the first to report that the 33-year-old defender informed "Real" of the offer he received, announced on Thursday afternoon that after a conversation with Florentino Perez, it was finally agreed that he would stay in the Spanish capital.

Shortly after these announcements, Madrid's "Real" announced that a press conference with S. Ramos would take place at 6:30 p.m. In the beginning of the conference, the defender immediately stated that he wants to end any speculation and confirmed that he is staying in Madrid.

"I am a madridista and I want to stay here until the end of my career. I will leave the team only when I feel that my body can no longer handle this level. We did not want the talks to go public, but it happened and now we want to finish everything so that there are no speculations left in the summer.

"I never tried to earn a new contract from these situations. I am ready to play here for free", - said S. Ramos.

Madrid's "Real" fans were seriously worried by these news, as F. Perez himself revealed on the radio show that the team's captain had reported about the offer from China.

It was reported that an unnamed Chinese club offered the Spaniard a three-year contract that would have guaranteed him more than 100 million euros.
