Madrid's "Real" club captain Sergio Ramos will stay in the Spanish capital for at least two more years, reports the newspaper AS. According to the mentioned source, S. Ramos has agreed to extend his current contract for another year until 2022. His previous contract was set to expire next summer. AS emphasizes that the cooperation between "Real" and S. Ramos may last even longer, but the club has decided that players over the age of 30, whose contracts are nearing the end, will not be offered more than a one-year renewal. The same conditions were agreed with Luka Modrić, whose contract with the club, set to end this summer, was extended for another year. 34-year-old S. Ramos has been wearing the "Real" jersey for 15 years. In total, he has played 640 matches, scored 91 goals, and won 21 trophies for the "white" team.
