S. Ramos on the fight for the league title: "There are still many matches left"

Madridd's "Real", as usual for him, gains its best sporting form at the beginning of the second season and returns to the fight for all possible trophies.

The "White" team triumphed in the Madrid derby on Saturday and temporarily reduced the gap from the leader, "Barcelona", to five points. However, the Catalans feel safe in their position - in case of victory, they will again have an eight-point advantage.

Despite the quite large difference, Madrid's "Real" captain Sergio Ramos says that the team should not lose hope.

"We did our job, which we had set out to do - we reduced the gap from the leaders as much as possible. We need to wait for the matches of "Barcelona" and see how things will progress," Ramos said.

"We played really good matches, so I think the result is completely deserved. There are still many possible points left until the end of the championship, but we know that any team can surprise, as it happened in the first half of the season.

We still believe that we can fight for all three trophies. The gap in the league motivates us, so we will continue to fight and not give a peaceful life to the "Barcelona" team," said the defender, who has already scored 11 goals this season.
