Madrid's "Real" captain Sergio Ramos continues to set new career records.
The 33-year-old center-back stood out in Wednesday's match against "Leganes" and opened the scoring for this "La Liga" season.
This is the 16th consecutive season in which S. Ramos has scored at least one goal in the Spanish league. The same number of seasons in a row has been achieved by "Barcelona" forward Lionel Messi.
S. Ramos opened his goal account in the "La Liga" championship in the 2004-05 season, when he still played for the "Sevilla" team.
In total, the country's championship defender has scored 62 goals.
