After Real Madrid's victory against Espanyol, defender Sergio Ramos called the star of the royal club, Cristiano Ronaldo, who scored five goals, a beast on Twitter.
Yesterday, Portugal also became the all-time top scorer in La Liga. With his third goal, he surpassed Real legend Raul, now having a total of 230 goals for the team representing the Spanish capital.
"Complete performance: a clean sheet and 3 points. Well done to the Beast @cristiano for his 5 goals. #HalaMadrid pic.twitter.com/LI1bmgr8V5" - Sergio Ramos (@SergioRamos) September 12, 2015
Speaking to journalists, Ronaldo also praised another center-back, Pepe.
"Despite this victory, Espanyol is a good team. However, when Ronaldo has a good day, it is impossible to beat us. We need to thank all of our players and especially Cristiano for this victory."
