“Barcelona” defender Sergi Roberto believes that his team does not really respect veterans.
The 30-year-old Catalan was upset with his salary.
“At the moment, I earn as if I had just arrived from the ‘Barcelona B’ team.
Nevertheless, I accept the salary with admiration, because I want to be here,” explained the veteran who has played 328 matches for the team.
“I want to stay here and the economic side is not important.
We haven't started talks about the future contract yet, but I would like to stay here,” said S. Roberto, who earns 5 million euros per season and can become a free agent next summer.
