Young "Lyon" center-back Samuel Umtiti admits that one day he will want to challenge himself in the strongest football leagues in England and Spain.
The 21-year-old defender was linked to the English champion London's "Chelsea" club before the start of this season. At the same time, the Frenchman also drew the attention of Madrid's "Real" team, which will likely be looking for a replacement for the departing Pepe next season.
"I am very ambitious, I have a lot of goals, but I know that I still have a lot to learn with the 'Lyon' team," - S. Umtiti told RMC.
"A move to a foreign football league is a dream come true. Everyone admires the English 'Premier' league, as well as the Spanish 'Primera' championship.
I could say that I prefer the Spanish game, but I am not one of those who give priority to someone," - concluded the rising French star.
