Reliable sources in Italy announce that Milan's "Inter" has completed negotiations with Madrid's "Atletico" for the acquisition of right-back defender Sime Vrsaljko. The 26-year-old footballer will join "Inter" on a season-long loan, for which "Inter" will pay 6.5 million euros. In the summer, the fashion capital team will have the option to purchase the player's full contract for 17.5 million euros. S. Vrsaljko performed excellently in the World Cup, where he reached the final with the Croatian national team. The defender will arrive in Milan after the end of his vacation. This is a somewhat unexpected move for "Atletico", as Diego Simeone has only Juanfran in the right-back position, and his performance has been declining with age. S. Vrsaljko arrived at "Atletico" in 2016 and played 54 matches during that time. This won't be the Croatian's first experience in "Serie A" - before moving to the Spanish capital, he played for "Genoa" and "Sassuolo" for three years.
