"Manchester City" club website announced that forward Sergio Aguero has signed a new five-year contract.
The 26-year-old footballer has long been linked with a return to Spain, as "Barcelona" and Madrid's "Real" showed interest in him, but the Argentine firmly decided to stay in Manchester.
"There have always been rumors linking me with a return to Spain, but I never really paid much attention to them," - reassured S.Aguero.
"Manchester City" is a special club. We have won two Premier League titles, but I want more and will try to achieve it with my teammates," - added the striker.
S.Aguero joined the "Man City" club in 2011 when he left Madrid's "Atletico" for a sum of 45 million euros. In three seasons in the "city" ranks, the footballer played 122 matches and scored 75 goals.
