"Saint-Etienne" club confirmed that they have acquired Henri Saivet and Jordan Veretout, who played in England last season.
Both players, who did not quite fit in the "Premier" League, are returning to France under a one-year loan agreement.
Senegalese national team member Saivet arrived at "Newcastle United" from "Bordeaux" last January, but only played four games in total for the "Magpies".
Meanwhile, Veretout was playing for Birmingham's "Aston Villa" team since autumn.
Both mentioned clubs are now playing in the "Championship" division this year, so the players are happy to move to "Ligue 1".
