"Sampdoria" beat "Juventus" at home, "Inter" rose to second place (VIDEO)

At the beginning today, there were several "Serie A" matches played, but most of the Italian football fans were most interested in one. In it, Genoa's "Sampdoria" hosted Turin's "Juventus," who were defending their champion title. In recent seasons, the "Bianconeri" were used to dominating on the local front, but Marco Giampaolo's pupils gave them a serious challenge from the very first minutes. Although Juan Cuadrado had a chance to score in the 32nd minute, they held up well until half-time. In the second half, "Juve's" affairs became even worse, as right after a mistake by Federico Bernardeschi, "Sampdoria" moved forward with a goal by Duvan Zapata. Just a few minutes later, he could have had a double on his account. However, the honors of the sniper were taken over by a great long shot from Lucas Toreira, and after Gian Marco Ferrari's goal, the result became even more alarming. Interestingly, the "Bianconeri" fought back in the final moments of the match and made the home fans worry, as Gonzalo Higuain and Paulo Dybala scored goals. However, everything ended happily for the Genoa team. "Sampdoria" with 26 points after this victory is in an excellent position to fight for top positions, while the "Juventus" team allowed the tournament table leader "Napoli" to escape four points ahead. In other stadiums yesterday, the defeated "Milan" failed to overtake "Torino" and Florence's "Fiorentina." The Turin team, to which victory could be attributed by Andrea Belotti's penalty goal, played a draw with Verona's "Chievo." Meanwhile, "Viola" equalized the result only in the 80th minute against the championship newcomer "SPAL 2013" and also earned only one point. In the evening, the second position after the defeated "Juve" players was taken by Milan's "Inter," who defeated Bergamo's "Atalanta" at home. The battle at "San Siro" stadium was really close, but the decisive factor in the match was "nerazzurri" captain Mauro Icardi. He scored the first goal after the break after Antonio Candreva raised a penalty kick, and the Argentine took advantage of Danilo D'Ambrosio's pass in the 60th minute. Ambitious Luciano Spalletti's pupils are currently behind the "Napoli" team by just two points.
