"Sampdoria" rejoiced at the victory in "Serie A"

On Monday evening, the last matches of the fourteenth round of the Italian championship were played.

In the first match, the home team "Cagliari" faced off against Verona's "Chievo" club. Thanks to two early goals, the visitors celebrated a 2-0 victory. Riccardo Meggiorini scored in the fourth minute, and Alberto Paloschi in the ninth.

Interestingly, in this match, 46 fouls and 9 yellow cards were recorded, but it is quite strange that no player was sent off the field.

In the later matches, another Verona team "Hellas" took on the Genua club "Sampdoria", who currently sits in fourth place. As expected, Sinisa Mihajlovic's team secured three points.

In this duel, unlike the first one, a red card was shown to Rafael Marquez in the middle of the first half. Then Citadino Martins Eder converted a penalty kick and put the visitors ahead. Shortly after, Luca Toni managed to score a goal, but in the second half everything fell into place and the "Hellas" team could not resist against their opponents.
