"Sampdoria" striker diagnosed with coronavirus, three "Leicester" players in quarantine

Although the football world is taking all precautionary measures, the new coronavirus also affects professional players.

On Wednesday, Turin's "Juventus" announced that Daniele Rugani had contracted COVID-19, and on Thursday, "Leicester City" manager Brendan Rodgers revealed that three of his players had shown symptoms of the virus and are now in quarantine.

"We have several players who have shown symptoms of the coronavirus. We are following all safety measures and they are isolated from the team," Rodgers said at a press conference.

It is not yet clear which players are in quarantine.

Another case of infection has also been confirmed in Italy. "Sampdoria" reported that the new COVID-19 virus was diagnosed in the team's striker Manolo Gabbiadini.
