In the elite youth league, the 16th round of matches was played this week, after which most teams will enjoy the winter break.

[U15] The youngest players' division only has one round of matches left to play, which will determine who will finish first in the table in 2023 - Vilnius BFA or FK "Žalgiris"? These two capital city teams won their matches on Saturday with identical 2-0 scores. Klaipėdos FM, who are in third place in the division, also won by the same margin.

The most productive victory in this round was recorded by "Kauno Žalgiris" FA, defeating Utenos Utenis and solidifying their fourth place position in the tournament table. The year ended on a high note for the Mažeikiai team, returning from the capital with three points and a place in eighth. Kauno FK "Aidas" defeated Panevėžys after a penalty shootout and climbed from last place, overtaking "Utenos Utenis".

[U16] In the Ruby Division, all teams played meticulously after sixteen matches, so the team rankings will remain "frozen" until March 2024.

Emilijus Šakalis led FK "Žalgiris" to victory over Šiauliai and received good news from Visoriai. VFA "Geležinis vilkas" defeated "Be1 NFA" counterparts in their arena and thwarted the Kaunas team's rise to the top spot. Vilniaus BFA also celebrated a confident victory and remained in third place after winning in Alytus.

Players from A. Narbekovo FA and FK "Banga" shared sixth place - "ANFA" performed well in the match against Panevėžys, while Gargždai won the away match against "Vilnius Football Academy". Klaipėda celebrated a victory against the tournament neighbor Talentų FA-FK "Riteriai" at the LFF stadium.

[U18] After Saturday, it became clear that the leaders of the "emerald" division will be maintained until spring by the team of FA "Panevėžys"-PRSSG. The Panevėžys team defeated "Vilnius Football Academy" in the away match.

This round's highlight was the clash between the Kaunas representatives - the Kaunas team had a two-goal advantage, but the Vilnius team managed to level the score at the end of the match and were more accurate in the penalty shootout. Viliaus Jucys from Šiauliai also had an outstanding individual performance on Saturday - his "poker" ensured a victory against Tauragė.

In other Saturday matches, Klaipėdos FM and Talentų FA-FK "Riteriai" teams scored three points each by scoring five goals against their opponents. FC "Hegelmann" won the derby of Kauno region.

Two postponed matches will be played on November 28 and 29 - "Be NFA" will host "Vilnius Football Academy" peers, and FA "Šiauliai"-ŠSG will face the capital's Žalgiris players.
