Samuel Eto'o, who received a €20 million salary offer, negotiates with "Anzhi" © EuroFootball.com

Samuel Eto'o may still leave the Milan club this summer and move to Russia, announces the influential newspaper "Gazzetta dello Sport".

According to the report, the Cameroonian is being lured to join "Anzhi" in Makhachkala, whose leaders are willing to pay the striker an annual salary of 20 million euros. Such a salary would make him the highest-paid footballer on the planet, excluding commercial contracts.

The negotiations between Eto'o and "Anzhi" are nearing completion, so the African himself only needs to decide whether he wants to become a teammate of the legendary Brazilian Roberto Carlos.

Last season in the Italian championship, he scored 21 goals in 35 matches.
