According to "Sassuolo" general director Giovanni Carnevali, London's "Tottenham" offered 18 million euros to sell striker Simone Zaza.
The 23-year-old Italian has scored 8 goals this season and has provided one assist, gradually establishing himself in Serie A. Zaza also recently made his debut for the national team.
The striker was sold to Turin's "Juventus" last summer by "Sassuolo", but the Italian champions have the right to buy him back for 15 million euros.
"Tottenham" offered 18 million euros for Zaza, which is more than what "Juventus" should pay," Carnevali told Gazzetta TV.
"Other clubs are also interested in him. He will make a decision about his future himself. We are not obligated to sell him."
"We have close relations with "Juventus", but we have to consider both the desires of the "bianconeri" and the player himself."
