Saudi Arabian coach: "Sometimes your opponent lacks the greatest motivation" © ZUMAPRESS.com

The legendary football manager Herve Renard contributed to yet another sensational victory in his career.

Guided by Stratego, Saudi Arabia defeated Argentina 2:1 in their first World Cup match in Group C.

After the match, the Frenchman noted that perhaps Argentina did not have as much motivation to play against his team as they should have in the next match.

"Sometimes your opponent lacks the greatest motivation and that is normal," said H. Renard.

"It happened to us when we played against a lower level team. Sometimes people don't understand that... motivation is not the same when they play against Brazil. That is part of football."

This 54-year-old specialist has won two Africa Cup of Nations titles during his career - in 2013 with Zambia, in 2015 with Ivory Coast, and in the last World Cup he coached the Moroccan national team.
