Former London's "West Ham" team manager Slaven Bilic is reportedly set to work in Asia.
"The Sun" reports that the 49-year-old Croatian is the main contender to take over as the head coach of the Chinese national team, whose leaders are planning to part ways with the famous Marcello Lippi.
The federation of the country is not satisfied with the current results - they suffered hopeless defeats in the matches against Wales and Czech Republic in March (0:6 and 1:4).
The Chinese team also failed to qualify for the World Cup in Russia.
M. Lippi is the second highest-paid coach in the world. His salary of 21 million pounds sterling is only surpassed by "Man Utd" manager Jose Mourinho (23.75 million pounds sterling).
