„West Ham“ club has appointed a new team manager. It is the former Croatian national team coach Slaven Bilić.
The Croatian has played for „West Ham“ club in 1996-1997. S. Bilić will arrive in England from Turkey, where he coached the „Besiktas“ team.
The 46-year-old coach has signed a three-year contract with the club and became only the second Croatian coaching in the „Premier“ League.
S. Bilić is a polyglot and has a law degree. He has also been a member of a Croatian rock band for a long time.
From 2006 to 2012, S. Bilić coached the Croatian national team."
