S.Blatter: in the future, football may be played on other planets

Recently, FIFA President Sepp Blatter, who has been heavily criticized, stated that one day football could be played on other planets.

The 78-year-old Swiss is still active in Brazil and participating in FIFA congress. Blatter also claims that in the future the world could experience changes, where there will be not only a World Cup, but also competitions between planets.

"It wouldn't be surprising if one day football is played on other planets. Why not? Then instead of a World Cup, there could be a planetary championship," said Blatter, who has been serving as FIFA President since 1998.

Blatter is not currently considering stepping down from the largest football federation and plans to participate in the next term elections, but the Swiss is losing the trust of many world football leaders.

It is worth mentioning that the FIFA presidential election will take place in 2015.
