Scandals shake Portugal: masked "Sporting" fans beat their club's players and coaches (PHOTO)

The "Sporting" team in Lisbon is once again shaken by scandals - the country's media reports that about 50 masked club fans broke into the training center and attacked former team members. It is reported that the attackers beat everyone in sight - including Portugal national team players Rui Patricio and William Carvalho, but the most injured from their hands was Dutch legionnaire Bas Dost. He was hit on the head - his photos quickly spread throughout the world media. It is also alleged that the intruders vented their anger on head coach Jorge Jesus and other club employees. Police immediately received 21 suspects for the attack after the incident. The anger was provoked by the results of recent matches - last weekend, "Sporting" lost to the "Maritimo" team and remained in third place, which does not give the right to compete in the UEFA Champions League tournament next season. Just a month ago, the name of "Sporting" was also mentioned throughout the media when the club president suspended practically all the main team players for inappropriate behavior.

“Unbelievable. I have no words for this. We are all shocked, it was a real threat... I am empty.”

Bas Dost had 6 stitches in a head wound. He was hit with a belt after 50 hooded fans entered their training ground & attacked players.
