On Sunday evening, the last two matches of the 6th round of the German "Bundesliga" championship were played.
In front of their own fans, "Schalke" from Gelsenkirchen clashed with "Borussia" from Miochengladbach. "Schalke" fans finally witnessed their team's victory - the hosts beat "Gladbach" with a score of 4-0 and achieved their first win of the season.
In the first half, no goals were scored, but in the next 45 minutes, "Schalke" organized a real goal fiesta. Maximas Choupo-Moting scored in the 52nd minute from the penalty spot, later Breel Embolo and Leon Goretzka added goals. In the 83rd minute, B. Embolo scored a brace.
So far, the Gelsenkirchen team had suffered five defeats in as many possible games in Germany. This was the second failure of the "Gladbach" team this season.
In other matches, "Wolfsburg" drew 0-0 with "Mainz".
