Munich security guard Bastian Schweinsteiger will miss the matches of the German national team in the European Championship qualifying tournament with Austria and Azerbaijan, as well as a friendly match against Uruguay.
According to the press release, the footballer is still recovering from a broken toe.
However, the national team coach did not express any desire to call up a replacement for Schweinsteiger.
The Germans will play against Uruguay on May 29, against Austria on June 3, and will travel to Baku four days later.
