Yesterday, three matches of the second qualifying round of the UEFA Cup were played. There were no major surprises in any of the games, and the new club of Egidijus Majus, "Zenit," had to admit the superiority of the Austrian team "Pasching."

"Buducnost" 1 - 2 "Maribor"
Nicosia's "Omonia" 1 - 1 Sofia
"Pasching" 3 - 1 St. Petersburg
Tomorrow the remaining 29 matches will be played. Two of them will involve Lithuanian clubs. At 20:00 Lithuanian time, Panevezys will play against a team in Norway, and at 21:05 Vilnius will start a match against guests from a Danish club.
