Secretary of the Argentine national team: Messi doesn't care about himself

Argentinian national team secretary, Jorge Miadosqui, criticized the country's star Lionel Messi because he gives himself too little rest.

The sniper has not been playing due to injury since September 29th, when he got injured in a match against Madrid's Atletico in La Liga.

This situation prompted calls from head coach Edgardo Bauza for the national team and Barcelona club to work more closely on taking care of Messi's health.

"An irresponsible player is one who always wants to play," Miadosqui told ESPN radio. "We all have to take care of him together."

"I think the national team does the best job taking care of the footballers. We sent doctor Augusto Fernandez for an operation, and now he has gone to supervise Messi. We must take care of all national team players."

It is hoped that Messi will be able to appear in the upcoming matches against Brazil and Colombia next month.
