The Australian U-23 national team scored a goal of extraordinary beauty. The team from the smallest continent on Earth slipped in the AFC tournament B group match against Iraq, when at the end of the first half their player Alou Kuol scored a goal in "scorpion" style. However, without scoring another goal, the Australian team was unable to defeat their opponents and the match ended in a 1-1 draw.
