The new season did not start successfully for everyone. Lee Tomlin, who plays for the "Doncaster Rovers" team in "League Two," earned two silly yellow cards that not only caught the attention of league fans but also the entire football world. The forward initially kicked the ball twice when he should have passed it to opponents. He was then awarded one yellow card, and a few seconds later, the player pretended that one of the opponents had stepped on his foot. The Englishman lying on the ground managed to get involved in a conflict, thus receiving a second yellow card and rightfully being expelled from the field. The 33-year-old Englishman has played for "Bournemouth," "Cardiff City," and "Middlesbrough" teams during his career. Once considered talented, L. Tomlin also played in the "Leicester City" academy.
