Americans demonstrated their love for football. The "Charlotte" team played their debut match in MLS league history, watched by 75,000 spectators at the stadium. It is reported that this is the second most attended match in the world this year. The match, much to the disappointment of the numerous fans, was won 1-0 by the "LA Galaxy" club.
