Raimondo Žutautas clubmate in the Athens team, Greek Giorgios Seitaridis, will most likely represent the team that took second place in the Spanish championship.

The 22-year-old Seitaridis, playing in the right-back position, according to the Greek newspaper "TA NEA," has signed an intention contract with a Spanish club. As the same newspaper says, "Panathinaikos" could not resist the offer of 3 million euros (about 10 million litas) for a player whose contract will expire in the summer of 2005.

The player himself, according to the newspaper, should earn 2.4 million euros (about 8.3 million litas) in three years.

Unknown to most Lithuanian fans, Seitaridis is a representative of a famous Greek footballing family: his father, uncle, and grandfather were famous Greek footballers. The player, born in 1981, started his professional career in the club "PAS Giannina," but played only 8 matches there. In January 2001, at the age of 19, he received an offer from the Greek super club "Panathinaikos." His debut season was very successful - in the Champions League matches held in March of that year, the young Greek scored a great goal. That season he was one of the main figures leading the team to the quarterfinals of the Champions League.

This player represented his country's Olympic (U-21) team in the 2002 European Youth Championship in Switzerland and represented his country's main team in the 2004 European Championship qualifying matches.

Last summer, "Panathinaikos" rejected offers from "Werder," "Monaco," and "Valencia," and this season he was linked with "Barcelona" and "Newcastle" clubs.
