‘Sel’ leader: we spared no expense in protecting the grass at the Kaunas stadium

The leader of the group "Sel", Egidijus Dragūnas, reacted to the scandals of recent weeks, when the Lithuanian men's football team cannot hold matches at the Kaunas stadium due to musical concerts.

According to the musician, if money is not spared for expensive solutions during the concert, the grass will suffer no damage.

"I really love football, and I really love music. The first concert at the Darius and Girėnas stadium was a "Sel" concert. At that time, 35 thousand people attended the event. We were under a magnifying glass; many TV stations came, and they measured the grass with a centimeter.

Back then, the stadium was covered by a Polish company. It really cost a tremendous amount of money, but the grass was preserved, and it was possible to play football the very next day," said E. Dragūnas.
