The football news portal Goal.com has selected the worst-looking "Premier" League players' team of the season, which includes representatives of not a single grand team.
In the goalkeeper position - Joe Hart, currently on loan from London's "West Ham". Formerly the main goalkeeper for "Manchester City", this Englishman has recently regressed very quickly, conceding 30 goals in just 14 matches this season. This led to him not even making it into the starting lineup.
The right-back position is occupied by Cedric Soares from "Southampton". This Portuguese player has made the most mistakes so far, leading to goals by opponents. The defense of the "Saints" team doesn't look good in general, but Soares' mistakes have already cost a lot.
Next to him is "Manchester United's" newcomer Victor Lindelof, who so far has not been able to perform even the simplest elements on the field and his positions are constantly being covered by teammates. In their first match of the season, the "Red Devils" lost to "Huddersfield Town", and Lindelof was guilty of both goals.
One of the worst-looking midfielders is Renato Sanches, representing "Swansea City" on loan. The biggest catch of this Munich "Bayern" talent in the "Swans" ranks has so far been a pass to a billboard. He still has not lost the talent to create great attacks, but the recent episode shows how difficult it is for him to adapt to the English championship.
Jonjo Shelvey from "Newcastle United" deserves his spot in the middle of the field, often allowing his emotions to control him. He is already 25 years old, so one would expect more maturity from him, but due to red cards he has missed four matches this season.
The trio of defenders is completed by Chelsea's newcomer Tiemoue Bakayoko. While N'Golo Kante does everything well, this Frenchman does everything poorly, so it's no wonder that he has received plenty of criticism from the fans.
On the right side, we often see Henrikh Mkhitaryan disappearing - many "Manchester United" fans still do not understand what happened to him. After providing five assists in the first three games of the season, the Armenian only played seven minutes in December.
On the left, the Arsenal icon Alexis Sanchez has become a disappointment in recent years. Now both he and the team's fans are waiting for him to move to Manchester.
At the forefront of these team attacks is Christian Benteke from London's "Crystal Palace". The Belgian striker has only scored once in the past 13 matches, a goal against "Leicester City". For a forward who cost over 30 million euros, much more could be expected.
