One of the most anticipated events of the year is nearing its end - the UEFA Champions League tournament's semi-final stage ended yesterday. Only two clubs remain in the fight for the trophy - "Liverpool" and Madrid's "Real" will face off in the final.

In the semi-finals, the "Real" team defeated Munich's "Bayern" with an aggregate score of 4-3, while "Liverpool" also surpassed "Roma" with a one-goal difference (7-6).

The portal "EuroFootball.com" compiled a list of players who are contenders for the title of the best player of the Champions League semi-finals:

Keylor Navas - the goalkeeper of Madrid's "Real" team, who faced the most shots in this stage as a goalkeeper (12). The Costa Rican had good chances to save the first shot in the first match against Bayern, but in the return leg, he was the man responsible for "Real" reaching the final.

Joshua Kimmich - the defender of Munich's "Bayern", who scored a goal both in Munich and Madrid. The German played selflessly in both defense and attack and unquestionably was the best player in his team.

Mohamed Salah - the forward of "Liverpool", whose name is currently being discussed all over the world. Yesterday, the Egyptian did not show much, but his phenomenal performance in the first match was the reason why he is on this list - two goals and two assists.

Roberto Firmino - the forward of "Liverpool", who contributed strongly to the team's qualification for the final. The Brazilian also scored two goals and made two assists in the first match against "Roma", and yesterday's match also contributed to the first goal. Firmino excelled in both offense and defense.

Edin Dzeko - the forward of "Roma", who was active in both the first and second matches against "Liverpool". E. Dzeko scored twice and also had the most shots among all players participating in the semi-finals. The Bosnian deserves a place on the list.
