In Group C of the African Nations Cup, Senegal defeated Cameroon 3:1.

The winners were led ahead in the 16th minute by Ismaila Sarr.

In the 71st minute, the score was doubled by Habib Diallo. In the 83rd minute, Jean-Charles Castelletto narrowed the score. In the 90+5 minute, Senegal's victory was secured by the star of the team, Sadio Mane.

In the B group matches, the Green Falcons crushed Mozambique 3:0.
