Sensation: African champions finish their performance at the Nations Cup in the group stage

On Tuesday evening, the battles of Group C ended in the Africa Cup of Nations.

It was a big surprise in the group. The champions of the Black Continent, the footballers of Ivory Coast, narrowly lost to the Moroccan national team and ended their tournament performance.

The elephants were in third place before these matches, but a victory against Morocco would have taken the continent champions to the quarterfinals. However, the Moroccans were given a ticket to the next stage by Rachid Alioui's goal in the 64th minute.

In other matches, the Togo national team lost 1-3 to the Democratic Republic of Congo and also did not secure the right to play in the quarterfinals. Congo remained in first place with 7 points.
